Time Attendance Recorder Clock Adjustment

The TIMY-Clock recording unit may require time adjustment from time to time.

The time clock unit batteries will typically require replacement once each year, or sooner, depending on the number of times that the front panel red button is pressed. Typical battery life is 12 months, when 40 employees clock-in and clock-out twice per day.

If the battery replacement procedure takes longer than a few minutes, it is possible the clock time will require minor adjustment to the minutes setting. This is performed by using the "Set Clock" badge, which is one of the Management Badges supplied with every Timy-System.

The TIMY Time Reporting Terminal User Manual contains full instructions on adjusting the system clock, on Pages 5 & 6 under 'Time Setting'. Checking all time and date parameters requires about 30 seconds.
